Disneyland Hotels

I have stayed at many hotels during various trips to Disney. The prices change constantly based on demand and season. My favorite time to go is in the fall right after schools go back. You can get great deals! 

But regardless of the time of year there are a few things I always keep in mind when choosing a hotel:

• Does the price include parking? A lot of hotels charge $10-15 in addition to the room cost for parking
• How close is it to the park? Walking distance? If not, is it close to an ART (Anaheim Resort Transportation) stop? 
• Does it have a fridge and microwave? I prefer rooms that have these amenities so that I can save money when I visit the park.

Hotels I've Visited 

Anaheim Camelot Inn and Suites

Location: PERFECT! Literally the second closest hotel you could possibly be.

Parking: $15 

Amenities: Fridge and microwave. Okay pool with hot tub. 

Value: You can get this place for a great deal if you book in advance and at the right time. A bit dated but you can't beat the location.

Red Lion Hotel Anaheim

Location: Pretty good! About a 12 minute walk but also has a ART stop right outside. 

Parking: $15 

Amenities: Fridge and microwave in the room.

Value: Good price but always consider the parking cost.  
Alamo Inn and Suites 

Location: Pretty good! About a 20 minute walk but also has a ART stop right outside. You are better off getting on at the stop to the left of the hotel rather than the right as it is less full. 

Parking: Free! They even let you stay until 3pm after you check out.. 

Amenities: Fridge and microwave. Okay pool.

Value: Very inexpensive. Definitely not the Ritz but a total money saver. 

Rodeway Inn Maingate

Location: ART nearby but we walked across the bridge to meet the Mickey and Friends Lot Shuttle (suggestion by the hotel)

Parking: Free

Amenities: Fridge and microwave. 

Value: Pretty good value for location and quality. 

Ramada Anaheim South

Location: Pretty far from Disneyland. Just get on ART. 

Parking: Free

Amenities: Fridge and microwave. Lots of room space!

Value: Really liked having an extra front room. Perfect for families! Fridge and microwave.

Anaheim Express Inn

Location: Not too close (about a mile). I prefer not to add to much walking when you consider you'll be on your feet most of the day. 

Parking: Free

Amenities: Fridge and microwave. Pool and Hot tub. 

Value: So cheap you can't really complain about anything.
