We have been on our fair share of Disney trips. Here are some things we have added to our permanent packing list.
- Disney Pins
Disney pins are super fun to trade at the parks. We usually buy an inexpensive bag of random pins on eBay to trade in the park. Just make sure they are genuine Disney trading pins. Pins can cost between $6 to $14 in the park gift shops but trading is free and you feel a lot more accomplished.
- Magic Band Accessories
A free magic band is included with your Disney Parks reservation if you are staying at the hotel. This band serves as your room key, ticket and you can even use it to pay for things in the park. The free bands you get are basic. Rather than paying $20 or more for a luxury band you can order custom decals on etsy. We ordered ours from seller Ashetounding and they looked so cute!
- Battery Operated Fans
These fans were so amazing. It gets incredibly hot in Orlando and Anaheim and without these fans we would have been pretty miserable at times. O2 Cool has some great products, these are the ones we bought.
- Outfits for the Parks
You can spend loads of money on t-shirts and apparel in the parks or you can raid your local Target or Hot Topic that is sure to have some cute items. It is so much fun to dress up for the parks and really helps you get into the Disney spirit.
- Snacks

- Camelbak Backpack
This is a splurge item but it is one of the best things we own. The 'bladder' holds 72 ounces of water and is way more convenient than a water bottle (and stays cooler longer). We have one of the small backpack models so we can pack it full of snacks and necessities any time we visit the parks or a sporting event.

- Cooling Towels
People are wearing these all over the parks, especially in Orlando. They sell them in the park for about $20 but they are a bit massive. We bought these and they worked really well. Just get them wet and you will stay cool for hours.
